Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva — a hotel worth traveling for

Have you ever made the final destination of your trip not a city, historical sites, shops, or a beach, but.. a hotel? How often, when staying at a hotel, do you realize that you don’t want to go out at all? Have you ever stayed at a hotel that is an attraction in itself?
If the answer to these questions is no, it’s time to go to Geneva, where discerning guests await at the Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva.

This Swiss city, located in the heart of Europe, often welcomes Russians arriving here for business or leisure, to the shores of Lake Geneva or on their way to ski resorts. In the center of Geneva, they are greeted by a true attraction — the Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva, which has much to surprise even the most discerning guests.

This unique hotel establishment offers stunning views of the lake, the French Alps, and the old town from its luxurious rooms. Panoramic exquisite restaurants feature menus by famous chefs and pastry chefs. It has one of the largest and most expensive presidential suites in the world, the largest indoor pool in Geneva, a fitness center, the iconic nightclub Java, and even its own theater — Theatre du Leman.

The reputation of a trendy place that must be visited has been further solidified with the opening of an elegant SPA of 1400 sq. m. at the end of 2010. Le Spa has started a new chapter in the history of Swiss well-being art. In such a refined city as Geneva, the spa menu can only include perfectly balanced treatments based on the best cosmetic products. Designed in a modern style and finished with precious woods, marble, and mosaics, Le Spa is filled with soft aromas that take you on a journey through a world of sensations.

"Our hotel is popular among solo travelers and families. The rooms are comfortable and modern, a great place to relax after a busy day.", says Thierry Laval, General Director of Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Thierry Laval took this position in 2010 with the aim of making the Geneva hotel one of the main jewels in the global Kempinski collection, relying on the European traditions of exclusivity of the brand.
The largest presidential suite in Europe
At the top of the ship-like building is the largest presidential suite in Europe. These modern, elegant apartments, worthy of heads of government, royal dignitaries, and global stars (and frequently in demand by them), span 1080 sq. m. The two floors are adorned with collectible handcrafted items: Brazilian wooden furniture, carpets, and custom-made pieces from Baccarat specifically designed for this suite.

The suite offers a magnificent panoramic view of Lake Geneva and its famous Jet d'Eau fountain, the alpine peaks including Mont Blanc, and the old town. The sun-drenched luxurious interiors and terraces have repeatedly served as a backdrop for shoots and interviews with celebrities, among whom are Natalie Portman, Diane Kruger, and others.
A Luxurious Evening at Théâtre du Léman and Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva
Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva is considered one of the most significant and prestigious cultural venues in Geneva thanks to the Théâtre du Léman located within it — a large modern theater and concert hall.
In 2011, the theater was completely refurbished — from sound and lighting systems to the upholstery of the seats. Now the hall accommodates 1300 spectators (as originally intended in 1985), hosting over one and a half hundred performances a year, welcoming around 1.5 thousand viewers. Claude Proz, the general director of the theater since 2009, carefully selects the repertoire. The program features a variety of genres: drama and ballet, one-man shows, acrobatic performances. Stars such as Mireille Mathieu, Carla Bruni, Patricia Kaas, and popular Russian performers have graced the stage of Théâtre du Léman.
Restaurants and Bars
The Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva features three fine dining restaurants: Il Vero, Le Grill, and Lóu One. Each establishment has its own personality and atmosphere, as distinct and unique as the guests themselves. The FloorTwo Lounge, open during the day, is a wonderful place for both business meetings and casual gatherings. If you want a quick bite before heading out to enjoy Geneva's vibrant nightlife, visit our FloorTwo Bar; then wrap up your evening dancing at the VIP club Java Club, one of the most popular nightclubs in Geneva.
