Prague, the “City of Towers” – Gothic architecture, stone-paved squares, ancient stone bridges. Very soon I will see the largest castle in the world, Prague Castle, or the mesmerizing Dancing House. A vacation in Prague is wonderful in any season due to the comfortable climate. How do I envision my trip to Prague? Only like this: relaxing in the warm hotel pool in winter after a busy day or refreshing after long walks in the heat of summer. There are several outdoor city pools in Prague, but I didn't find many nice hotels nearby. However, there are plenty of great hotels with indoor heated pools. I share with you my list. The image galleries and prices get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on September 27, 2024.

The hotel overlooks the Vltava River and impresses with its scale. Many tourists note that inside the building resembles a mini-city. It's interesting to visit there, isn't it? I really want to.
The jewel of the LivingWell spa center is the indoor large heated pool exclusively for adults. No noise or endless children's screams. In the summer, you can go out to the open terrace and sunbathe.
There is also a gym, where there are not only machines but also classes in Pilates and yoga. The bath complex deserves special praise! I would definitely enjoy massages with aromatherapy, coconut shells, hot stones, and a classic steam bath.
From the hotel to the main attractions of the Old Town of Prague and the Palladium shopping center, you can walk in just a few minutes. The Florence metro station is 150 meters away; I recommend walking to it through the Passage.
In the Atrium restaurant, a breakfast buffet featuring Czech and international dishes is served, included in the accommodation price. At Seasons with an open kitchen, you can try vegan and European dishes made from local ingredients. Beer Garden Carlin is popular for Czech beer and snacks, just like Hop House.
In Cafe & Bistro (this is the most beautiful terrace among greenery!), you will find the best dishes of the Mediterranean. Don't forget to go up to the roof at Cloud 9 Sky bar for a cocktail and enjoy the views of the river.

I chose the luxurious hotel with architecture in the Neo-Renaissance style because of its lavish spa center, which is considered one of the best in all of Prague.
A 20-meter heated pool, jacuzzi, and massage water beds – perfect after an adventure-filled day, both in winter and summer. The bottom of the pool is covered with blue mosaics, giving the water a heavenly color. Around the pool is a area with comfortable loungers for complete relaxation, where you can even take a nap.
Additionally, the hotel features one of the best spa salons in the city, and many tourists agree! Yoga classes are held here in the mornings. I would go every day!
If you stay at this hotel, you will be 500 m from the New Town Hall and the Powder Tower. Old Town Square and the Jewish Museum are 1 km away, and Charles Bridge is 1.6 km away. If you need to travel further, there are two metro stations located within 350 m.
The bar-restaurant, named after the year of its establishment Carlo IV — 1890, invites you for breakfast (served in a buffet format), as well as lunch and dinner. According to tourists' reviews, there are always fresh juices and delicious aromatic coffee with the perfect roast at breakfast. You can enjoy dishes from international and traditional Czech cuisine.
The unique bar The Vault, featuring the best Czech beer and snacks, is located in the premises where large sums and valuables of Czech Bank depositors were once kept.

This hotel is appreciated for its convenient location - close to many city attractions. Additionally, the lobbies, rooms, and restaurants are decorated in the style of a true castle from the past - with all its grandeur.
There is a small indoor heated pool, literally sparkling under a huge crystal chandelier.
The Ecsotica spa center on the ground floor is designed in Indonesian traditions and invites you to the sauna, fitness room, and spa bar. Carved heavy doors, gold shimmering everywhere – it takes your breath away with such luxury.
But that's not all! Each guest has a unique chance to relax on a stunning Chinese carved wooden bed and order a massage, such as Balinese, bamboo, or the signature Alchymist, which is an exclusive combination of three techniques at once.
The hotel is located in four old bourgeois houses. Just 400 m to my favorite castle, Prague Castle, and 750 m to Charles Bridge. Many tourists also write that you can easily get to the airport even without a taxi.
The lobbies and rooms impress with baroque luxury. According to tourists, there is a feeling that they are living in their own castle.
Imagine, arched vaults, twisted gilded columns – this is the kind of interior in which guests enjoy Czech dishes for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served in the inner courtyard in the atmosphere of a rich mansion. A cup of coffee can be enjoyed at the Barocco Veneziano café in a baroque-style setting.
Don't miss the free wine and cheese tasting - such a delicious five o’clock is served at the Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa.

And the fifth place in my ranking rightfully goes to the most expensive luxury hotel located in the Old Town, next to the vast Letna Park. A chain hotel that excels in every European city – it’s simply impossible to overlook it.
The indoor vitality pool with heating and massage jets will help you recover and relieve fatigue. There is a relaxing atmosphere with dim lighting, a fireplace, and pleasant music playing. Of course, the pool is not for professional swimmers, but it is perfect for relaxation.
I was delighted by the AVA spa center in the neoclassical style with a Finnish sauna, hammam, and massage services. I especially enjoyed the thermal bath – a bath with Omorovicza oils. I would also love to visit the hammam for couples with eucalyptus oil.
There is a very beautiful park located 200 m away, with many interesting locations, such as the oldest carousel, a metronome, and a tunnel. Do you love museums or have you come to Prague with children? Visit the Museum of Alchemy and Magic, which is about 300 m away. Old Town Square is 550 m away, as is the metro station of the same name, and Charles Bridge is 500 m away.
Absolutely all rooms are huge and have floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, making them bright and cozy.
At the Levitate restaurant – international and Asian dishes. Guests enjoy the breakfasts, which in season feature many delicious berries and fruits. At the Cotto Crudo restaurant – Italian cuisine dishes made from fresh ingredients. The homemade pasta is especially praised. On the roof of the hotel, there is a Japanese restaurant with authentic dishes called MIRU. The views of the city are simply stunning. By the way, "miru" translates from Japanese as "view".
I love to travel and have had the opportunity to visit many places before the restrictions were introduced, but not in an old rich castle. That's why I choose Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa. I really want to feel like a queen.

This five-star hotel with a sparkling glass façade is located on top of a hill, which means the views here are breathtaking. How can you pass by!?
On the 24th floor of the hotel, there is a very beautiful glass-enclosed pool. It is indoor, heated, and operates year-round. Imagine swimming while observing the city from a bird's-eye view! It feels as if you are diving not into water, but into the Prague sky.
After swimming, you can relax in the luxurious Apollo spa, where, in addition to a fitness room, you can visit the sauna, steam room, or take advantage of the services of a masseur and cosmetologist.
I like that the Vysehrad metro station is 400 m away, and the Paloucek bus stop is within walking distance. If you take the metro for 2 stops, you'll find yourself in the city center. I don't like traveling by transport, so I would happily walk to Wenceslas Square, which takes about 25 minutes. Also, Old Town Square and Charles Bridge are just 3 km away.
The Grill and Lounge 62 restaurants offer visitors a taste of international dishes, while Monsoon delights gourmets with spicy and aromatic Indian cuisine. A delicious and hearty breakfast is included in the price of your stay and is served at the Let’s Eat café.
My advice to you: if you want to try authentic Czech cuisine, there is a cool restaurant called Krusovicka Chalupa located 500 meters from the hotel.
