Hotel Ours Blanc-Centre — a decent hotel, but I was slightly put off by the reviews and low rating. Nevertheless, I found a number of advantages for myself: breakfasts, location 500 meters from the Capitol, which means other attractions in Toulouse are also nearby.

There is a small and bright breakfast hall on the premises, which for some reason reminds me more of a fast food establishment. Although it does look quite clean! The selection of dishes is rather limited, but the presentation is in a buffet style and you can find various cold cuts, croissants and other pastries, juices, yogurts, jams, and hot drinks. It should be enough for a morning snack, considering that I usually eat lightly.

At Hotel Ours Blanc-Centre, the rooms are very small - from 12 to 14 sq. m. It will be difficult for two, so my friend and I decided to take two separate rooms. Fortunately, the rooms have windows with excellent views of the city, bright interiors with large beds, and bathrooms with everything you need. It is livable! Considering that we plan to spend most of our time walking around the area.

Overall, it's a nice place. To be honest, I didn't quite understand the low ratings. Yes, the rooms are small, and the breakfasts are not lavish, but the location is simply amazing - right in the center of Toulouse, everything you need is nearby, and they can deliver food to your room. There's no restaurant in the hotel, but there are plenty of good places nearby.

Hôtel D’orsay — a maximally simple hotel, but it has some kind of charm. The interiors are modest, and a water canal runs nearby. However, it's not very far to the center — the Capitol is only 1 km away.

The hotel has a quite cozy breakfast room with a view of the garden, where meals are served in a buffet format. Even in a two-star hotel, there is a choice - I like it! Overall, you can have a good meal, for example, take porridge with fruits and drink aromatic coffee with a fresh roll. My friend and I are seriously considering this option for our trip.

The rooms at Hôtel D’orsay are very simple. It seems that there is only a bed and a shower here. But the small rooms have a desk, a television, and air conditioning. We consulted and decided to book a "Comfort" category room with two separate beds.

This is a hotel with nothing extra! Great breakfasts, cozy rooms, food and drinks can be delivered to your room upon request, and they will also assist with baggage. Nevertheless, the hotel looks cozy and the location is quite good!

Le Clocher de Rodez — a decent three-star hotel in a historic building. It is located in the very center of Toulouse! For example, the train station is right nearby, and it is only 600 meters to the Capitole, about 7–8 minutes on foot. Very close!

Every morning, breakfast is served here in a buffet format, featuring a good selection of dishes in a cozy hall. The main thing I want to try in France is their famous baguettes and croissants. It seems my day will be set as soon as the aromas of freshly brewed coffee and freshly baked baguette touch my nose! Of course, you will also find other hot and cold snacks, as well as vegetables and fruits.

The hotel has small but well-equipped rooms. The average size of the rooms strictly meets the 3-star standards — this is 14-15 sq. m, which is quite enough for me. Moreover, the rooms have good beds, a TV, a kettle, and glasses, even a workspace. I would choose a classic double room with two beds. It suits us!

Le Clocher de Rodez — a decent hotel in the center of historic Toulouse. 24-hour front desk, polite staff, delicious breakfasts, even parking — if you plan to arrive by car. I would also take advantage of the local bar when I have walked enough and don't want to go anywhere else!
