I learned that in June 2024, another heated infinity pool with a sunbathing terrace will open on the 10th floor.

I liked the location of the hotel - close to public transport stops, so it's easy to get to the attractions. Also, there are a total of 2 swimming pools here.

An interesting 4-star hotel, located on the site of an old monastery, boasts a fantastic location next to the cable car. I was also very impressed by the small, but very atmospheric pool in the rocks.

On the 7th floor, where the hotel adjoins the green hill of San Martino, there is a cool outdoor swimming pool, a Russian bath, and a picturesque garden. The pool is open and heated from May 15 to September 30. 

On one side, there is a view of the city, the bay, and Vesuvius, while on the other side, there is a hill with the San Martino vineyard and the Castel Sant'Elmo. The pool has a winding shape, carved as if directly into the stone, and it almost seamlessly blends into the greenery. Thus, it creates the impression that it is not located in the hotel, but high up in the rocks. 

The hotel is located between the two main funiculars of the city. Every 15 minutes, the Montesanto Funicular (400 m from the hotel) departs towards: the center of Naples, Castel Sant'Elmo, the San Martino Museum, and the Archaeological Museum.

The Central Funicular (300 m from the hotel) also departs every 15 minutes, taking guests to the Royal Palace, the waterfront, the shopping district, and the San Carlo Theatre. These places can also be reached on foot in about 8-10 minutes.

A bus stop, which goes to the Mergellina metro station, is located right in front of the hotel.

At the restaurant La Terrazza dei Barbanti, the renowned chef Vincenzo Stingone prepares Mediterranean dishes using local products. Here, a breakfast buffet is also served. On the 7th floor, guests can find the bar and restaurant "Il Vigneto" in a blooming garden by the pool. I read that from here, there are views that are almost nowhere to be found in Naples – a perspective from Capodimonte to Capri through the important domes of the Old Town church - the Angevins' house.
