Hello! Next month, my husband and I are going on a road trip through Italy. We will start in the north and end in sunny Sicily, in the city of Palermo! In every city, I look for a hotel that includes breakfast in the price, and Palermo is no exception. Based on our experience, this is very convenient. Moreover, this way we save time and money.
There are many options in Palermo, and I even gathered a selection where I detailed 10 different hotels with breakfasts for every taste and budget. Enjoy your viewing! The image galleries and prices get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on January 24, 2025.

Literally in the next block is another luxurious five-star hotel, Grand Hotel Et Des Palmes, with incredible reviews, delicious breakfasts, and wonderful service. Of course, staying here is very expensive, but if you want to feel like royalty, welcome!
In this hotel, you can expect a classic buffet with a wide variety of fresh fruits, delicious pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, and dairy products. There are dishes available even for the most discerning tourists, although for items not on the menu, an additional charge will apply. Hotel guests strongly recommend trying the natural homemade yogurts made in the same region, as well as seasonal fruits! It should be noted that there are few hot dishes at this hotel, but you can try Sicilian cuisine, such as almond pastries and "granita" (crushed fruit ice with sugar). Among the drinks, there is quality coffee, tasty tea, and fruit juices. Breakfast can be enjoyed in a special breakfast room or on the terrace overlooking the city.
The hotel is located in the city center, a 5-minute walk from the Massimo and Politeama theaters. There are many boutiques, souvenir shops, shopping centers, restaurants, and bars concentrated in this area. It is always crowded with tourists, making it quite noisy in the evening. In 10 minutes, you can reach the port of Palermo, from where ferries depart to various islands and Naples. All main attractions can be reached on foot or by public transport, as there are plenty of stops nearby.
Luxury hotel in an elegant Art Nouveau building, designer interiors, excellent reputation; the hotel offers great service, very friendly staff, daily room cleaning, and a delicious breakfast in a comfortable setting. At the Grand Hotel Et Des Palmes, there is a restaurant and bar where very tasty Italian dishes are served, and a professional sommelier at the bar will help you choose from the drinks.
There is little furniture in the rooms, not enough storage space; in the evenings, noise from the street can be heard in the hotel - poor sound insulation.

The incredibly beautiful four-star hotel captured my heart at first sight. Designer interiors, first-class service, a diverse breakfast buffet, and a wonderful location make it very popular among tourists from all over the world.
The breakfast at this hotel is a buffet. In the morning, a beautiful and diverse buffet is laid out with a large selection of appetizers, cold cuts, desserts, fruits, and berries. Here you will find delicious olives, cheeses, jams, oils, fresh baked goods, and various pastries and pies. Hot dishes, however, should be ordered the evening before or an hour before breakfast. You can choose scrambled eggs, omelets, various porridge, and much more. Breakfast can be enjoyed not only in the breakfast hall but also in your own room.
The hotel is located in the Albergheria district in the center of Palermo, right next to the Chiesa del Santissimo Salvatore. Also nearby are Palazzo Drago Ajroldi di Santacolomba, the Palazzo Riso contemporary art museum, and the No Mafia Memorial. This is a wonderful area for walking and exploring the city's attractions. The Palermo Cathedral is located within a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel. By the way, right across from the hotel is a grocery store and the Cappadonia Gelati café, which has the most delicious ice cream in the city! Within walking distance, there are many restaurants, bars, and cafés, making the area very lively (especially on weekends). The waterfront can be reached in 20-25 minutes on foot or by public transport from the stop near the hotel.
Small but very beautiful rooms with a balcony, designer furniture, and vintage details; excellent view from the windows; spacious bathrooms; the rooms are very clean, with daily housekeeping! Perfect location, polite staff, and complimentary sweets in the room. Tasty breakfast, excellent service, and very reasonable price.
It is noisy outside in the evenings, sleeping with the window open will be problematic. Small rooms. I could not find any other significant drawbacks.

A modern stylish hotel in a building from the 18th century, located close to the waterfront and the Botanical Garden, is famous for its delicious breakfasts, cozy rooms, and excellent service. The hotel has excellent reviews on all websites, which means that all the praise it receives is truly deserved!
Why do they love to eat sweets for breakfast in Italy? It surprises me every time! The buffet in this hotel features a huge variety of pastries: croissants, cinnamon rolls, various pies, cakes, cheesecakes, and pastries. In addition, there are pancakes with jam, crepes, and sweet toasts. As for more nutritious dishes, there are eggs in different variations, cheeses, olives, fruits, artichokes, and other vegetables, several salads and snacks, as well as delicious fruit juices and coffee. We definitely won't stay hungry here! By the way, breakfast is served on the terrace on the top floor of the hotel - the view from there is simply amazing!
The hotel is located across the street from the waterfront, near the Palazzo Chiaramonte Steri and the Antonio Pasqualino Puppet Museum. There are many attractions, squares, and parks for walking around. For example, the city park Giardino Garibaldi is a favorite spot for both locals and visitors. Nearby, there are public transport stops, and within a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel, there is a port where ships depart to Naples and various islands. I read in the reviews that right across the street there is a great Sicilian restaurant MadoniEAT with delicious seafood and mandarin granite!
The hotel has a fitness center, a spa complex with a sauna and a jacuzzi, a beautiful terrace, and a bar. Comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need inside. On the top floor, there is a magnificent terrace with a stunning view of the pier and the sea. Very good breakfast, polite staff, convenient location, perfect cleanliness in the room.

The four-star grand hotel in classical style is also an excellent accommodation option in Palermo. It is located in the city center and is popular primarily for its antique covered gallery, where concerts and other events are held. Additionally, the hotel serves wonderful breakfasts included in the price of stay, which is surely a delight!
This hotel offers a standard breakfast in the form of a buffet, which will necessarily include scrambled eggs, fried bacon, toast and other pastries, fruits, vegetable salads, berries, cereals, yogurts, and much more. It is worth noting the availability of gluten-free options; there are even various sugar- and gluten-free crispbreads, as well as lactose-free and nut milk for those who do not consume dairy products.
The hotel is located in the center of Palermo, a 15-minute walk from the harbor. Literally 5 minutes away is the Museum of Modern Art Modern Art Gallery Sant'Anna and the Royal Palace Palazzo Valguarnera Gangi. There are also many restaurants and bars concentrated near the hotel, including the very popular wine bar dal Barone, which we have already planned to visit!
Historic building with high ceilings and an atrium where live music plays in the evenings. Standard but comfortable rooms with air conditioning. Very pleasant and polite staff, especially at breakfast. Ideal location - a quiet street in the city center near major attractions, with quick access to the port. Great hearty breakfast with a wide selection of dishes. There is private parking and a gym.
Finding a hotel by car will not be very easy, as it is difficult to approach it due to one-way traffic. In some places, Wi-Fi works poorly. Expensive parking.
Hotel Politeama
- Distance from city center:
- 1.2 km
- Bar / Lounge
- Free Wi-Fi
- WiFi
- Restaurant
- Air Conditioned
- Mini Bar

Hotel Politeama is a very popular hotel in Palermo, and it is famous above all for its stunning views of the city and the Politeama theater located right outside its windows. Additionally, it offers complimentary breakfasts, cozy rooms, and excellent service, which also adds to the image of an ideal four-star hotel!
In this hotel, you have the opportunity to have breakfast not only in the specialized hall but also on the rooftop terrace. Of course, everyone recommends taking this opportunity. Here you will find a traditional European buffet with a large selection of Italian pastries: various pies, cakes, a wide range of cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and several types of cereals. I should also note that you can request dishes that are not on the menu, but there will be an additional charge for that. I can't say that the breakfast in this hotel impresses with its variety, but you definitely won’t go hungry here. Moreover, the terrace offers a wonderful view of the city, so you can start your day with a cup of coffee and enjoy the incredible beauty.
The hotel is located in the very center of the city, on Ruggiero Settimo Square and opposite the Politeama theater. This is one of the main squares of Palermo – a meeting and leisure place for the city's youth. There are almost always many people here, and various city festivals and exhibitions take place regularly. Right by the hotel, there are several public transport stops, so you can quickly reach any point in the city. Within walking distance from the hotel, there are many restaurants and bars, and on the opposite side of the square, there is a supermarket, Coop, popular with the locals.
Central location close to many attractions. Spacious rooms with air conditioning and comfortable furniture; some rooms offer a stunning view of the square and theater. Delicious breakfasts, there is a restaurant and a rooftop bar serving excellent wine. Polite staff and top-notch service. There is a gym and parking available.
Expensive parking, not very friendly breakfast manager, there are misunderstandings with the staff.
Hotel Federico II Central Palace

- 0.9 km

Literally a 10-minute walk from the previous option, there is another four-star hotel - Hotel Federico II Central Palace. Here you will find great interior design, delicious breakfasts, and excellent service!
Breakfast at this hotel is a classic buffet with an Italian twist. As always, there is a vast selection of pastries, fruits, vegetables, a cheese platter, various cold cuts, yogurts and cereals, hot dishes (eggs, porridge), salads and snacks, as well as signature Sicilian pies. By the way, breakfast can be ordered to the room if desired.
The hotel is located in the city center, a 7-minute walk from the Politeama theater and the Ruggero Settimo square. Across the street is one of the best cafes, Gelateria Azzurra, with delicious ice cream for every taste and budget! Moreover, everyone recommends visiting the cafe A' Putìa - Panini e Vini for the tastiest sandwiches in town! Surprisingly, this area is concentrated with a huge number of cool restaurants and cafes, you can walk into almost any of them – you won't be disappointed! The nearest public transport stops are no more than a 5-minute walk away.
Excellent location - city center, many pedestrian areas nearby. Spacious and very stylish rooms. The hotel has a spa and sauna, which will be a great way to end a busy day. There is a restaurant and bar that serve excellent wine and cocktails. Very friendly staff, daily housekeeping, excellent breakfast organization.
The hotel is very dark: both in the rooms and in the lobby (probably, this lighting corresponds to the hotel's concept), an expensive spa, uneven operation of the air conditioning, poor sound insulation between rooms.
Le Quattro Stagioni - Rooms & Suite

A three-star hotel with an incredibly high rating certainly caught my attention immediately. An affordable price, hearty breakfast, parking availability, comfortable and clean rooms - what else do we need for a great vacation? Let's take a look!
Of course, for such a low price, I do not expect to see a luxurious buffet here, however, the local breakfasts are very hearty and nutritious. You can enjoy coffee, homemade Italian pastries (pies, rolls, cakes), fresh seasonal fruits, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, small sandwiches, cereals with milk, and yogurts. Yes, there are no delicacies here, but it is very difficult to leave hungry from such a breakfast! Moreover, many tourists note that the breakfast products in this hotel are of very high quality, and the fruits are grown on the owner's farm. By the way, breakfast can also be enjoyed in the room.
The hotel has a great location - it is almost in the city center, just a 10-minute walk from the waterfront and the port, and literally around the corner is Ignazio Florio Square. There are many restaurants, cafes, and bars concentrated around the hotel. The vegan restaurant aTipico, located just steps from the hotel, has the best reviews, and the restaurant Monsù Restaurant et pizza contemporanea serves very delicious pizza!
Excellent rooms: comfortable and clean, some have a balcony with a nice view of the street. The staff is pleasant and friendly, and the hotel owner has won the hearts of almost all guests! The location is great - close to the harbor, city center, and attractions. Hearty breakfast. There is parking near the hotel!
I couldn't find any significant drawbacks, all guests are satisfied with the service and the hospitality of the owner. If you are looking for a budget hotel with breakfast, choose Le Quattro Stagioni. I fear nothing better is available!

In this hotel, you will find incredibly beautiful and diverse breakfasts! Of course, I couldn't miss it. Comfortable rooms, affordable prices, excellent staff service, and a central location make this hotel very attractive for tourists!
Wow! What a breakfast! With a view like this, I am ready to have breakfast every morning! In this hotel, breakfast is served on the terrace, which offers simply incredible views of the city. On the buffet, you can find everything you could possibly dream of. There are vegetables grown on a farm nearby Palermo, seasonal fresh fruits, a whole variety of pastries, various snacks, desserts, salads, yogurts, jams, nuts, several types of milk, fruit juices, hot dishes made with eggs and cereals, luxurious coffee and tea. They even prepare gluten-free dishes (upon request).
The hotel is located in the city center on the main street Via Roma. It is a tall building, so it is impossible not to notice it. Right by the entrance is a public transport stop, from here you can get to the pier and various attractions. The hotel is situated not far from the Church of Martorana and the Pretoria Fountain. A couple of minutes' walk from the hotel is the Modern Art Gallery Sant'Anna. It is a very noisy area with a large number of tourists, however, there are many shops, restaurants, and cafes concentrated here.
Most of the positive reviews are dedicated to the local breakfasts; however, tourists note the hospitality and politeness of the staff, the availability of all necessary amenities in the rooms, and the excellent view from the hotel rooms. In addition, the hotel has a beautiful rooftop terrace that offers an incredible view of the city.
The hotel is located in an old building that needs renovation. The rooms are very small. In the evenings, it is very noisy outside the hotel, so you need to be prepared for that. There is no parking.
La Terrazza Sul Centro

- Mini Bar
And completing my selection is a very beautiful three-star hotel with excellent breakfasts, a stunning view of the city, and great service. This is an ideal option for those looking for a worthy budget hotel.
A not very diverse but tasty and beautiful breakfast awaits you in this hotel. Of course, first of all, we will see a huge amount of sweet pastries: cupcakes, croissants, buns, pies, and cookies. All of this can be complemented with fresh fruits, yogurt, fruit juices, cereals, nuts, cheese, sausages, boiled eggs, and several types of drinks. The main bonus of this breakfast is the incredible view from the rooftop terrace of the hotel. For this, one can have breakfast with sweets!
This magnificent view is primarily due to its excellent location. Within walking distance from the hotel, there are numerous attractions: the Pretoria Fountain, the churches of San Cataldo, Chiesa di San Nicola da Tolentino, and Chiesa del Gesù di Casa Professa, the art museum Palazzo Alliata Villafranca, the Cathedral of Palermo, and many more. Next to the hotel is the cool Tatum Art Jazzclub & Ristorante, which we will definitely visit, and there are many restaurants, shops, and cafes within walking distance. This is the very historic center of Palermo that I have dreamed of living in!
This hotel has only positive reviews! Excellent location, very stylish and cozy rooms with beautiful views from the window. I should also note that the rooms are very spacious, which is a great rarity for three-star hotels. A very beautiful rooftop terrace where you can have breakfast or enjoy the evening while admiring the beauty of the city. Very pleasant and polite owner, as well as all the other staff. A wonderful hotel for such a small price!
I was unable to find any significant drawbacks. The only thing that tourists mentioned is the absence of an elevator.

I will start with the most expensive and luxurious hotels in the city. The first representative is the stunning Grand Hotel Wagner, located in the very center of Palermo. What can I say... Very expensive, very beautiful, and very delicious!
Breakfast at the hotel is served in the form of a buffet and looks simply stunning. In the best Italian traditions, there is an enormous variety of desserts, pastries, and pies. But besides sweets, there are also cheese and cold cuts, eggs in different variations, plenty of fresh baked goods, and the tastiest croissants in the city. You will also be able to taste lightly salted salmon, vegetable salads, a variety of snacks, fruits, berries, and much more. It is worth noting the quality coffee that can be enjoyed with breakfast. By the way, breakfast can be taken on a very beautiful terrace.
The hotel is located in the very center of the city, next to the "Politeama" theater, the pedestrian zone, and numerous boutiques and restaurants. All major attractions are within walking distance. Tourists recommend trying the sandwiches at the restaurant A' Putìa - Panini e Vini, which is just a couple of steps away from the hotel.
A beautiful hotel in classic style, located in a building from the early 20th century. Inside, everything is quite modern: friendly and competent staff, excellent breakfasts, cozy bar. I would also highlight the magnificent location - within walking distance to shops, attractions, and the train station. Many note that the hotel often offers compliments: for example, leaving chocolate in the room with a "good night" wish.
There is no kettle, coffee maker, or iron in the room. Some rooms overlook the courtyard with noisy ventilation; it's better to choose a city view. Some feel that the hotel needs cosmetic repairs.
