Hello everyone! I recently visited Lisbon once again. Words cannot describe how much I love this city. This time I felt at home there and once again realized that I enjoy living the most in the Santa Justa lift area. It is the historic center, all the sights are nearby, there are many restaurants and cafes, and it's easy to get to any point in the city!
Considering my extensive experience staying in hotels, I decided to put together a selection and highlight the 5 best hotels near the Santa Justa lift. Believe me, this is the best place to stay in Lisbon. I hope my ranking will be useful to someone! The image galleries and prices get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. We cross the street and see the next hotel in my selection! It's a very beautiful place, especially the rooftop restaurant! It's worth staying here for at least a couple of days just for it. The location is still stunning, excellent service, great reviews, incredibly beautiful interiors!
To repeat, the hotel is located right across from the previous option. There is a metro station nearby, a train station, and Rossio Square. In just 10 minutes, you can walk to the historic district of Chiado with numerous shops and cafes. The Santa Justa Elevator is only a 5-minute walk away, you need to go down along Rossio Square.
I think that of all the hotels in Lisbon where I stayed, this one has the most delicious breakfasts! Especially since they take place with a stunning view of the city. The rooms are good, without any frills, but very comfortable. Upon check-in, they may upgrade the room category!
Rooms are cleaned irregularly. Some guests demand to update the furniture and plumbing.

Just a 7-minute walk from the Santa Justa elevator, there is another wonderful five-star hotel. It is located in an incredibly beautiful historic building, and the rooms are stunning! I loved absolutely everything about this hotel!
The hotel is located almost on the waterfront, near Terreiro do Paço square and Aurea street. Right nearby is the ferry dock, the metro station Terreiro do Paço, and the luxurious Lisbon Museum of History. The Santa Justa elevator is only 600 meters away, which can be covered at a leisurely pace in 7-8 minutes. I would like to emphasize that the location is indeed very advantageous - it's the very center, but there are not as many tourists here as in the immediate vicinity of Rossio square.
Excellent service, delicious breakfasts at the local restaurant, there is a bar, wellness center, sauna, and fitness center. The hotel has a car and bicycle rental. Very convenient location. Bright and spacious rooms.
There is often a queue at the elevator, there are issues with the air conditioning, and some rooms are very small.

Another very beautiful hotel in the center of Lisbon, slightly more modern but no less luxurious! I was really impressed by the elegant rooms of this hotel, but its main bonus is the incredible view from the breakfast room and bar on the top floor. I recommend seeing it with your own eyes, especially in the evening: the view opens up to the rooftops of Lisbon, the sea, and the bridge - very beautiful!
The hotel is located in the center, at Luis Camões Square - a very beautiful and popular place among the locals. There are several public transport stops nearby (buses and trams), as well as the metro station Baixa-Chiado. It takes only 9 minutes to walk to the Santa Justa Elevator along R. Garrett street. Be sure to stop by the café A Brasileira - a popular spot in Lisbon. You will find it by the monument to the Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa right next to the café's summer terrace.
Flawless cleanliness, comfortable rooms, excellent service, delicious breakfast, great location, rooftop restaurant and bar!
There are plumbing problems, but they are not critical.

A four-star hotel, but very worthy, right next to the Santa Justa elevator! I couldn't help but include it in my selection, as there are very cozy rooms with beautiful balconies, delicious breakfasts for just 10 euros, and excellent service.
As you can understand from the hotel name, it is located next to the Santa Justa lift, on Aurea Street. Great location, there are stops, metro stations, cafes, and restaurants nearby. You can reach Rossio Square in 4 minutes!
Cheaper than the other options in the selection. Beautiful rooms, some have great balconies with a view of Aurea Street. All attractions are nearby, the location is simply excellent. Good service, delicious breakfasts.
Small elevator, it can be noisy.

One of the most popular five-star hotels in the city. When I first arrived in Lisbon, I stayed there. What can I say, a luxurious classic hotel in a 19th-century building offers impeccable service, comfortable rooms, and excellent hospitality. The location, in my opinion, is perfect - a 2-minute walk to Rossio Square and 5 minutes to the Santa Justa Lift.
The hotel is located in the very center of the city, just a minute's walk from Rossiou Square. The Restauradores metro station and train station are just a couple of steps away. The Santa Justa lift is only 400 meters away, which can be covered in 5 minutes. It is also worth noting that you can quickly reach any point in the city from here - there are many public transport stops, two metro lines, and even a train station concentrated in this area.
Very beautiful historic interiors, there is a sense of local color. Spacious and comfortable rooms, great location, excellent service, very good buffet for breakfast, there is parking, transfer is provided. I would like to especially mention the stunning view from the room of the Restaura Dorish Square and St. George's Castle.
Despite all the advantages and the large number of positive reviews, it is important to understand that the hotel is located in an old building, and this brings its nuances. For example, the hotel has a very small elevator, which does not always cope with the flow of guests, and there may also be unpleasant odors in the building.
