Hotel Schweizerhof Zürich 4* — not just a hotel, but a find! Indeed, it's hard to find a place with such service and price in such a convenient location, right across from the train station. Living in Zurich near it is undoubtedly a plus. But don't worry — there's no dirt, unfamiliar faces, or disputes here.

Luxurious breakfast for a 4-star hotel. It is a buffet format with numerous appetizers, salads, cold cuts, pastries, hot dishes, and even champagne. I happily started my day with a sandwich made of red fish, olives, and a pickled cucumber. I also made sure to treat myself to dessert and a cup of coffee. Yes, throughout the day there is a snack available for guests in the form of fruits. The apples are so delicious, as if they were just picked from the tree.

What a surprise it was for me to learn about the spa center in this place! Perfect! After a busy day, what could be better than swimming in the pool, warming up in the sauna, and lounging with a cocktail on a sunbed? And that's not all! For the comfort of guests, there is a gym with quite good equipment. In the evening, I recommend visiting the hotel bar, which is famous for its many varieties of whiskey and beer.  

For the daily gifts of chocolates — my gratitude. Great idea!

My next three days of vacation were spent with a view of Lake Zurich. I stayed at the Steigenberger Hotel Bellerive au Lac 4*. The hotel was memorable for its diverse and delicious breakfasts, rooms that looked exactly like the photos on the website, a great location, and a cozy, home-like atmosphere.

What a nice aftertaste I experienced after breakfast. With such a selection of dishes, it's easy to find something familiar. I often ate omelets, tomatoes, fish, and cheese. I enjoyed having tea or coffee with fruits and pastries. I alternated fragrant buns with pastries every other day. By the way, vegetarian dishes are also featured in the assortment. 

Amazing when the hotel is within walking distance to most of the city's attractions. It took me no more than 10 minutes to get to the Old Town. And that includes stops for photos. The distance to the Opera House is even closer - just a couple of minutes. Not to mention, the train station is only 800 meters away. Thanks to the convenient location, I was able to save not only expenses but also time.  

And I never dreamed that I would drink coffee with an incredibly beautiful view of the lake. I would gladly come back to this hotel again. I found no shortcomings in it for myself.

Best Western Plus Hotel Zuercherhof 3* — an excellent option for an active trip. There are so many attractions around and a train station, but at the same time, the hotel complex boasts perfect tranquility on its grounds and in the rooms. Additionally, they serve delicious breakfasts here.

The hotel breakfasts are served in my favorite buffet format. Cold snacks, meat assortments, cheese, bread, fruits, and desserts. As for the hot dishes, you need to choose from the menu that is placed at each guest's table. And this is great. I love freshly prepared fried eggs, omelets, and porridge. Moreover, the cooking time for the main dish is a maximum of 5 minutes. Very efficient. By the way, in the morning, the restaurant serves chilled champagne. Additionally, the room includes a mini-bar: 2 bottles of cola, water, beer, and even milk.

I barely crossed the threshold of the hotel when, within 15 minutes, I received the previously booked room with a view of the city and the library building. The main plus for me is the silence in the evening and night. As for the room, it turned out to be quite spacious and with a modern interior. My only comment is the carpet on the floor. The bed is of standard size and has a comfortable mattress. The room also includes a small refrigerator, a television, a wardrobe, and bedside tables. Plus, there is a furnished balcony. And yes, in the bathroom – a shower cubicle. 

Excellent value for money. The hotel fully met my expectations.

B2 Boutique Hotel + Spa 4* — this hotel gave me wonderful memories! What stood out the most was its original interior. The production areas of the brewery fit perfectly into the minimalist design. And the service here is definitely in line with the precision of Swiss watches. Perfect!

Luxurious breakfast presentation! This was my first experience dining in a library. Just imagine the unusual atmosphere here: high ceilings, soft lighting, hundreds of books on the shelves, unique chandeliers made from bottles, and a pleasant aroma. Breakfasts were served in a buffet style, which offered a variety of options. Hot dishes, cold appetizers, salads, sliced meats, desserts, vegetables, and fruits.

The outdoor heated pool on the hotel rooftop is its true highlight! I happily visited during my free time. There is also a spa center with a sauna and massage room available for guests. By the way, there are many visitors with children in the pool. And for them, it's a paradise here. At the reception, the little guests are treated to marshmallows and fruits. Throughout the day, you can spend time playing board games. Additionally, there is a gym here. Small, but well-equipped.

My weekend at B2 Boutique Hotel and Spa 4* flew by in an instant. I was very pleased with everything!

Despite its compactness, Hotel Alexander 3* has something to be proud of. The boutique hotel has a great location in the heart of the historical part of the city. The cost of accommodation includes breakfast, and if desired, you can choose a room with a view of Niederdorfstrasse and, of course, hosting guests. I haven't been pampered with attention like this in a long time.

The first thing I noticed when I arrived here was the presence of a coffee machine in the lobby. It turns out that coffee can be enjoyed throughout the day for free. Additionally, all guests are treated to welcome sweets and water in their rooms. Respect! As for breakfast, it is served in a buffet format. With such a wide selection, I always found something tasty for myself. Most often, it was an omelet with fried sausages, cheese, and tomatoes. For a snack, I took a fragrant roll and a cup of coffee. 

Just imagine, the hotel is located on a pedestrian street with numerous restaurants and bars. You just have to step outside! Yes, guests only complain about noise from the street on weekends. During the week, it's peaceful all around and you can even sleep with the window open. Besides the restaurants, there is a train station nearby, the popular Lindenhof square among tourists, the Limmat promenade with the iconic buildings of Zurich - Wasserkirche and Grossmünster. The Town Hall is also there. My acquaintance with the city was done exclusively on foot. 

The hotel exactly matches the stated category, and for an active holiday — it's a great option.

My weekend was spent with a beautiful view of Zurich. I stayed at the Sorell Hotel Zurichberg 4*. This is a hotel where I found no flaws. Everything has been thought out in detail for a comfortable stay. I was especially delighted by the variety of breakfasts and the possibility to organize both a peaceful and an active vacation.

Guests are offered an excellent breakfast in the form of a buffet. The variety of dishes is so large that even a small child can be easily fed. Options include: fried eggs, omelette, various salads made from fresh, baked, and boiled vegetables, meat platter, cheese, including aged varieties, fruits, and pastries. There is even milk porridge, which can be ordered additionally. It is even better to place the order in the evening. Throughout the day, fruits are available for a snack. Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

It's so great when hotel rooms are really comfortable. This place even provides an iron and ironing board. Also a corkscrew, an ashtray, a coffee machine, a kettle with the necessary set. The room also pleased me. It turned out to be quite spacious and bright. And most importantly – clean. The bed linens and towels are snow-white. Yes, there is underground parking for guests with a car. And for me, that's another plus. 

The relative distance from the city did not stop me for a second from exploring the attractions. And thanks to the transfer service, it is free here.

Stepping into Hotel St. Josef 3*, I felt as though I had entered an art gallery – paintings were hung on the walls everywhere. Original and unobtrusive. I also appreciated the homely cozy atmosphere and the breakfasts included in the stay.

The hotel serves wonderful breakfasts! Perhaps I was lucky, but at the buffet I found all the dishes I love. I happily started my day with muesli, adding a bit of fresh fruit. Plus a boiled egg, a couple of slices of sausage and cheese. Sometimes I could have yogurt with a croissant or a bun. The coffee and tea, although served in small pots, are quite tasty. I personally recommend trying lunch and dinner as well. You can enjoy tea during the day in the room. A chocolate bar is also included as a complimentary treat.

I enjoy the hotel's location — a quiet center of the Old Town. Quiet because it is located on one of the alleys where you cannot hear the noise of traffic and city movement. However, after just a 10-minute walk, Zurich reveals itself from the other side. And you are left dizzy with the numerous city attractions. By the way, I walked from the train station. The walk took me 4 minutes. 

And don't forget to visit the viewing platform Politerraza! 

Boutique Hotel Wellenberg 4* — luxurious in everything. I chose it because of the possibility to start the day with healthy food, and as a bonus, I received so much more. After all, living within walking distance of the city’s attractions in Zurich is worth a lot. And considering the availability of a free luggage storage, the level of service, and the comfort of the rooms, it's no surprise why this boutique hotel is so loved!

They prepare wonderful breakfasts here and serve them in a buffet format. The selection is small, but all the dishes offered are tasty and fresh. I also liked that the interests of vegetarians are taken into account. I started my day with pastries. These were fresh and crispy croissants, which I added jam and cheese to. I preferred to drink coffee, but I also tried tea. By the way, there is a tasty cold cuts platter at the hotel.

Beauty! My room is on the 5th floor, from which there is a picturesque view of the square and the old rooftops of the neighboring houses. Drinking coffee and admiring the views has become my tradition here. As for the room, I am completely satisfied with its condition. The renovation is modern, the furniture is like new, the bed linen is snow-white, and the bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom comes with a variety of cosmetic products. 

This hotel left a warm and cozy impression on me. And I am looking forward to meeting it again!

Crowne Plaza Zurich 4* — an excellent option for a family vacation. This hotel impressed me with its diverse and quality dining, excellent service, availability of entertainment for both adults and children, as well as a cozy atmosphere.

I only have positive emotions left about the breakfasts. It was my favorite buffet, with a variety of dishes that made my eyes dazzle. A record number of cold appetizers, fresh vegetable salads, cold cuts, yogurts, and fruits. And what delicious pastries! Buns, croissants, muffins. I started my morning with an omelet, baked tomatoes, and mushrooms with pleasure. I also appreciated the availability of yogurts and dairy products. I almost forgot — in the morning, they serve chilled champagne here.

What could be better than spending your free time at the spa? I visited the pool, sauna, and hot tub daily. Yes, you can take towels, a robe, and slippers from your room. There are no age restrictions at the spa, so you can bring children with you as well. Additionally, there is a gym, which also has play areas. 

Despite the hotel's distance from the center, I accomplished my main goal. It turns out that getting to the historic part of the city is a piece of cake. After all, there is a tram stop just 400 meters from the hotel. Five minutes and I'm by Lake Zurich.

Fred Hotel Zürich Hauptbahnhof 3* — the hotel I chose due to its convenient location and included breakfasts during the stay. Also, from the reviews of guests, it became clear to me that they pay attention to cleanliness and pamper the guests' attention from the very first moment.

The hotel breakfasts are simple, but I was satisfied with everything. I especially liked how the meals take place in a calm atmosphere. Yes, the dining hall is open on weekdays from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM and on weekends, which is particularly convenient for those who like to sleep in, until 11:00 AM. Breakfast is served in a buffet format, with a variety of hot and cold dishes, salads, and snacks. Plus, the interests of vegetarians and those with allergies are taken into account. By the way, tea and coffee can be enjoyed not only at breakfast. The coffee machine and tea station are open 24/7 and free of charge.

I have never stayed so close to the main train station. Just a 5-minute walk from the station square. And the best part – no noise effects at all. All thanks to the excellent soundproofing in the hotel. Platzspitz Park and a museum are also nearby. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the observatory. A little further on is Paradeplatz and the botanical garden. But everything is exclusively within walking distance. Which is an absolute plus for me! 

The hotel met my expectations. If possible, I will return here again.
