We were on vacation with my boyfriend from May 14th to May 24th. We flew with Turkish Airlines. They served food about an hour after takeoff, and there was a choice of tea, coffee, juices, and water. The receiving party was Pegas. We were taken to the hotel by a mini-bus, which was very comfortable and fast. It took us about 4 minutes to get there. We arrived at the hotel around 9 am, but our room was not ready yet as check-in is after 2 pm. The hotel was fully booked at this time of the year. The receptionist told us that we could go have breakfast. So, a little sleepy from the journey, we went to have breakfast. Only after breakfast did we realize we should have changed clothes in the nearest restroom and explore the area since it was quite hot. It would have been nice if the receptionist could have informed us right away, for example: "You can change clothes over there, then leave your bags with your suitcase and enjoy the hotel facilities." The hotel grounds are small but green, and the views of the mountains are breathtaking! There are several bars on the premises, as well as a coffee shop, snack bar, sweet bar, fruit distribution by the sea, and refrigerators with beverages (juices, cola, Fanta, Sprite, ayran, water). Everything is available in unlimited quantities. There is also a small house with very friendly cats (DO NOT FEED THEM SAUSAGES OR ICE CREAM - THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED!). There are water slides, hammock areas, a large heated outdoor pool (heated until the end of May) and a deeper, unheated pool nearby. The cocktails served at the bars are quite strong, so if you want to have a drink but don't like strong alcohol, remember to say "NOT STRONG" when ordering. Also, all bars offer snacks like nuts, nachos, and potato chips. Not everyone knew this, so I think this information will be useful. The towel exchange/replacement counter is located by the main pool on the way to the sea. The animation team is excellent! The guys constantly entertain the guests and involve them in various activities. However, the evening entertainment gets a solid 4. Throughout our stay, we attended almost every show, but they were mostly dancing or acrobatics with dancing. It would be nice to have more variety. In addition to the animation team, there are SPA center employees on the premises, and they bothered us a lot during the first half of our vacation. I understand that it's their job, but we tried to avoid them whenever we saw them because we didn't want to listen to their offers to go to the spa. About the room: We booked a standard LAN View room. It was located on the 3rd floor of the main building. The balcony offered a view of the mountains and a bit of the sea. We really liked the room. There are a few minor drawbacks, which I'll mention below. The room includes: - a large bed - a sofa - a TV - a refrigerator (the mini-bar is replenished daily around 3-4 pm and it's free) - a kettle - tea/coffee/cookies/pretzels (replenished as needed) - 2 bathrobes - 2 pairs of slippers - a safe (free) - a clothesline on the balcony - an ashtray - air conditioning - a hairdryer in the bathroom - a magnifying mirror - shampoo + conditioner + shower gel + lotion + soap (replenished as needed) - 2 large bath towels - 2 small face towels There was sufficient lighting. The only thing we couldn't find was the light switch for the balcony, as we sometimes wanted to sit there in the evenings. It seemed like there was no switch that led to the balcony. Housekeeping was done daily, and they usually came to our room before or during lunchtime. There were also enough power outlets. One on each side of the bed, one by the TV, and one in the bathroom. About the room's drawbacks: Every morning (around 4-5 am), we could hear prayers from the nearby mosque. This happened in the evening as well. We stayed at this hotel with my spouse and 16-year-old son from June 3rd to June 14th. The tour operator was Coral Travel. We had a great flight with Turkish Airlines, despite a slight delay. However, things started to get chaotic on the bus with the Egyptian excursions group. It was mandatory to have a meeting with the guide, who had to register our vouchers with the police, otherwise we couldn't leave the hotel. You had to attend the meeting with printed insurance policies. The guide would provide you with the contact numbers to call. They couldn't figure it out themselves. There were even people running around trying to print their insurance policies. I wouldn't recommend going to tour agencies, it's dangerous. Don't buy anything, as your insurance will be voided. You will be abandoned unless they sell you into slavery. They just treat their tourists as idiots. In the end, we went on three excursions with local tour agencies. Everything was great. We even noticed tourists from hotel guides on the same excursions, but we paid only $2 while they paid $45. Diving was $6 in the hotel and $25 on the street. And it continued in the same style. A lot has been written about the hotel, so I'll try to keep it short. Location. The place is amazing. The views are superb. The nearby village of Beldibi is nothing special. It reminded us of Yalta or Anapa from the 90s. Shops, tour agencies, etc. Don't expect anything interesting during a walk. 1. Room 2429 with a sea side view. 90% mountains and 10% sea view. 4th floor, million dollar view. The room was clean, although the bathroom could use some renovation, but everything worked and was tidy. The cleaning staff did a good job, although not overly enthusiastic. The only downside was the nearby cheap hotel, Aleios Beach, which had no territory, just a beach with a few umbrellas and no entertainment except for burnt whiskey and aqua aerobics in a pool more like a puddle, and evening dances to loud music. The music was so loud that even closed windows couldn't help. It sounded like having an orchestra in your room. Luckily, we were mostly out for lunch, shows, or just walking during that time. To be fair, everything quieted down by 11 pm. And the crowd there was just loud drunk people peeing in the pool, standing on the edge, and so on. It's a shame for
We arrived on July 7th at 1pm, had lunch, received our room cards, and our room is nice and spacious. The balcony has an amazing view of the mountains - it's absolutely beautiful. The hotel grounds are huge and surrounded by greenery. The sea is crystal clear and clean, although the entrance is rocky, so we had to wear special slippers. However, many people were walking barefoot. There are also special platforms for entering the sea. The food is excellent and plentiful - there's an abundance of fruits, ice cream, and delicious desserts. A huge thank you to the kids' entertainment team - our child was engaged in interesting games every day. And a special thanks to the adult entertainment team - they were very friendly and cheerful. They organized great contests, aqua aerobics, yoga, Zumba, volleyball, darts, and entertainment for every taste. The evening shows were fantastic - we attended every night and were thrilled. Akka, thank you for your hospitality - we will miss you. We will definitely come back again!
