Wonderful hotel, no extra charges are needed, everything is free, pool, hammam, close to metro, bus, taxi to the beach is 700 rubles, water and ice are brought anywhere (for free), room cleaning every day, all amenities are available and even more, I highly recommend. Photos and videos attached.
Recently stayed at this hotel :) Friendly staff, there is a Russian-speaking administrator. Clean and cozy. Located 7-10 minutes away from All Khail metro station (red line) - only 7 stations to Burj Khalifa. The room is clean and equipped with a fridge, an electric kettle, drinking water, tea, coffee, cream, two types of sugar, plus a capsule coffee machine in the room with 6 capsules of different flavors. The breakfast is very good, they record the room number and the number of guests at the entrance. Taking food out is allowed, but it's better to politely ask. Various types of omelets, olives, salads, desserts, fruits, fresh juices (carrot, apple, orange), coffee, tea, toasts, etc.
Detailed review. Radisson Blu Media City The hotel is good, but nothing special. Its biggest advantage is its location. If your goal is to explore the city while occasionally visiting the beach, then it is a great choice. The metro is a 12-minute walk away, the tram is 7-8 minutes away, and the monorail to the Palm is 15 minutes away. Carrefour and many other shops are within a 15-minute walk. There are also plenty of places for walks nearby, including a park with a lake and a huge office area in Internet City (which also has a beautiful park and lake). The hotel does not have its own beach, and there is no transfer to the beach. It's a minimum of 15-20 minutes to the sea, and 30 minutes to the public beach (walking + a few stops on the tram). The staff is polite, but nothing more. They did not take a deposit. We were given a room with one bed (we had requested a room with two beds when booking), and they refused to change it, saying that everything was booked. Upon check-out, they refused to provide food for the road, explaining that the kitchen was not open at that time (we were checking out at 2 am). They easily exchanged large bills for smaller ones. The food is tasty, fresh, and there is an abundance of vegetables, fruits, cheeses, and mostly chicken meat. Breakfast is crowded, and there is almost no dinner buffet (there is a tiny buffet on the 2nd floor, but the selection is very limited and we did not like it, it seemed easier to buy ready-made food at the supermarket). Coffee at breakfast is unlimited and can be taken in a to-go cup. Tea is also unlimited. There is a lounge on the second floor with a microwave where you can heat up food from the supermarket and eat. Lunch is served buffet style for 85 dirhams per adult. There is a good selection of salads and hot dishes, desserts, and some fruits. Only water is included, other drinks are extra. The housekeeping is excellent! Every day, at a convenient time (when you turn on the "Clean my room" light). The sheets are changed either every day or every other day, the towels are huge and white, and the mattresses and pillows are very comfortable. Unfortunately, there is noticeable noise. If someone walks or talks late in the corridor, it can be heard in the room. The hotel has two pools, both small. The pool on the second floor is mostly in the shade, while the rooftop pool is cozier with a good view, but it is very tiny. The standard room is small, and it would likely be tight for three people. The water pressure is weak. When flushing the toilet, only hot water comes out of the faucet for some time. The furniture and carpet are old, but the mattresses are superb. In summary, the pros include the location, breakfast and lunch, and cleanliness. The cons are the cramped and outdated rooms, the lack of a good dinner buffet, polite staff but not very proactive, especially in atypical situations. It is suitable for city travelers and business trips, but there is not much to do for families with small children, and luxury should not be expected.
